When life feels heavy…

Navigating burnout, overthinking, people-pleasing, or feeling “fine on the outside” but overwhelmed inside is exhausting. You might feel stuck in old patterns, disconnected from yourself, or unsure of what’s next.

Maybe you’ve been trying to hold everything together, meet expectations that don’t fit, or find motivation when you’re running on empty. Perhaps you’ve started wondering who you’re becoming, or what it would feel like to live with more clarity, calm, connection, or purpose.

You don’t have to keep swimming upstream alone. Therapy can be a space to untangle what’s beneath the surface, understand yourself with compassion, and begin creating change that lasts.

Hi, I’m Mandy

MPCC-c, RTC-c

I’m a clinical counselling therapist, entrepreneur, parent, and mental health advocate. With a rich, multidimensional background in fitness, writing, art, floral design, and community outreach, I bring a deep understanding of creativity, mind-body connection, and the belief that relationships shape our lives to therapy. I think outside the box and have rebuilt my life more than once. I know the cost of carrying too much—the exhaustion of over-functioning, the weight of shrinking to survive, losing purpose, meaning, and sometimes identity along the way – and what it takes to rebuild.

My background spans over two decades as an entrepreneur, founding an award-winning flower shop and community hub, working in fitness, leading outreach in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, and working with folks impacted by addictions, homelessness, mental health and poverty. These experiences deeply inform my counselling work, and continue to shape my belief in create thinking, resilience, and relationships, guiding how I show up in session—compassionate, resourceful, and grounded in real connection.

My approach is warm, empathetic, collaborative, and non-judgmental -  rooted in inclusivity, cultural humility, trauma awareness, and holistic well-being. I believe that what often feels “wrong” with us is actually something wise within us—an old survival strategy asking to be seen and refreshed.

  • My approach is conversational, open, and direct. I believe therapy is about curiosity, connection, and collaboration—a space where we make sense of your experience together.

We’ll explore what’s happening in your thoughts, emotions, body, relationships, and day-to-day life to uncover the patterns that keep you feeling stuck. From there, we’ll experiment with new ways of thinking, feeling, and responding—creating change that feels authentic, meaningful, and sustainable.

In a safe, trauma-informed space, we’ll untangle what’s beneath the surface, unlearn what isn’t yours to carry, and update beliefs and behaviours that no longer serve you.

    I integrate:

    • Cognitive and behavioural tools for clarity and pattern change

    • Emotion-focused, relational, and systemic work for deeper exploration

    • Mind-body and somatic practices to support the nervous system

My work is non-pathologizing and strength-based, seeing behaviours not as flaws but as adaptations that can be understood, updated, and transformed through awareness and compassion. Every session is tailored to you—curated to fit your goals, needs, and pace.

  • I work with people from all walks of life and am drawn to supporting those who wrestle with perfectionism, people-pleasing, codependency, creative blocks, and self-esteem, or who feel the pressure to hold everything together. My clients are often high-achieving humans, creatives, entrepreneurs, caregivers, and parents, as well as individuals exploring neurodivergence, sexuality, autonomy, boundaries, relationships, and belonging.

I love to work with those navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, compassion fatigue, grief, identity exploration, relationship challenges, parenting, and major life transitions.

I have experience supporting adults, youth, people living with addictions and mental health challenges, LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent folks, and BIPOC communities.

If you’re grappling with the belief that you’re not enough or struggling to exist within systems that don’t make space for who you are, we can work together to re-shape your story and create meaningful, lasting change.

  • I believe growth and healing happens in relationship—through safety, curiosity, and genuine connection. Sometimes change begins with noticing what already exists within you.

My work is grounded in creativity, lifelong learning, and self-reflection. I believe in personal evolution and cultivating ongoing self awareness - both in myself and in those I have the privilege to work with. I’m passionate about unlearning harmful systems, decolonizing the body, and removing barriers to wholehearted, authentic living.

I believe we often have to unlearn before we can learn.
I believe our beliefs shape our experience of the world — and many of them aren’t ours to begin with.
I believe every person can build a life that feels clearer, steadier, and more aligned with who they truly are, and what they really want.

I believe each of us carry an inner wisdom and strengths that can guide change, even when it feels hard to access. My role is to help you reconnect with that—to make sense of what’s in the way, and to co-create a curated space for curiosity and growth to unfold naturally.

  • In our work together, we’ll identify what feels heavy, what you’d like to be different, and how you want to feel. Whether the shifts are small or significant, we’ll move at your pace—crafting a path that helps you reconnect with yourself, your confidence, and the life you want to create.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting. We’ll figure it out together.

  • You deserve support that feels safe, human, and grounded in real connection.
    Let’s explore what’s possible—together.
